Maybe this one was a mixing bowl in someone's kitchen at one time. It's reminds me of one my  grandmother used.

I love finding Vintage boxes and containers for storage and Shabby Decor. Occasionally I run across a great find but the Lane mini Cedar chest are getting harder to find. I was very excited to find this one came from my home town. Unfortunately I have never found one with a key.
